In Episodes 1 & 2 of the Super Shock Show, we learned about Cameo's backstory. He was an unfortunate human that the horror host Sicko-Psychotic stumbled upon inside the Sick Shack and he immediately fell victim to the King of Ghoul's appetite. Soon after, Sicko trapped his spirit inside an old camera obscura in order to project horror movies for the show. When Sicko discovered a WANTED poster (shown above), we learned that Cameo's human name was Horatio Hughes, a British hotel clerk on the lam from the law for having murdered his wife with a bulky video cassette of West Side Story.
Cameo is usually at odds with Sicko's choice of movies featured on the show and is often bickering and insulting his rival, Silky Harlot the Spider. Despite all of this, it is clear that he is now a member of a very strange and dysfunctional family unit that has been built over time.
